A Short Magnus Samuelsson Profile

Magnus Samuelsson

This short Magnus Samuelsson profile will cover his home life, his family, and his philosophy of strength and strongman training.

One of the things that Magnus is known for is his personification of the giant Swede.

He is approximately 6 feet 7 inches tall and 330 pounds with blond hair and as strong as an ox. However, his short hair and wholesome lifestyle will convince you that he is not a Viking. Instead, Magnus is a farmer.

Magnus Samuelsson comes from the Swedish countryside and a hard working and wholesome family. His father is of average stature but his mother can beat most men in arm wrestling, and his younger brother Torbjorn is a professional strongman who has been a competitor in the World’s Strongest Man competition. Magnus spends his days doing difficult farm work, and fuels his body with beef and potatoes. Magnus believes that his body requires plenty of good food and plenty of sleep. That’s why he eats around 8,500 calories every day.

This short Magnus Samuelsson profile would not be complete without discussing his views on drugs in sports. Magnus has been outspoken against drug use and takes great pride in having won the title of World’s Strongest Man in 1998 drug free.

Magnus Samuelsson can bench press 595 pounds and would probably do well in Powerlifting, but he prefers Strongman because he believes it is the ultimate strength sport.

Magnus has been a very popular Strongman over the years and has received requests to appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and on the Oprah Winfrey show. Sports Illustrated and Rolling Stone have published interviews with him and he has appeared on several Swedish television programs.

Magnus Samuelsson continues to compete at the top levels of the sport and is still very competitive even though he has been doing it since his first appearance in the World’s Strongest Man in 1995.

This short Magnus Samuelsson profile demonstrates what can be done with healthy living and hard training. Click here for some natural supplements.
