Personal Training

No Limits Physique offers you Personal Training for a wide array of disciplines. Owners Aaron and Sam Anderton are experienced in personal training for several sports, from Powerlifting to Bodybuilding, and Strongman to Football, Basketball and Track, and many others. We have been very successful in both training ourselves and others, for example, my friend Phil Tyler in the picture at the top of this page.

Aaron Anderton played linebacker on his High School Football team while winning a state championship. He went on to play football overseas in the Marine Corps leading a defense that allowed only 21 points all season and won every game.

He also began to take his weight training seriously during this time. Aaron was inspired to take up bodybuilding after watching "Pumping Iron" starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. He and his buddies read everything they could get their hands on that would help them improve their muscular size. In a short while he had gained over 30 pounds to arrive at a bodyweight of 245 pounds and his strength had skyrocketed. In case you are thinking that it was anything other than muscle, you should know that he was on the Super Squad competition team which involved running for 6 miles with full gear including a 50 pound pack, among other things.

Aaron quickly found out that everybody wanted to know how to achieve the results he had. He showed those who had the dedication to train with him and they too grew by leaps and bounds! He was a natural at personal training.

After his time in the Marine Corps, Aaron began to train for bodybuilding competition. He bulked up to 267 pounds and then dieted down to 217 for a competition. Aaron placed third and learned some important lessons about dieting, both for gaining muscle without extra bodyfat, and losing that fat without losing so much muscle. These are certainly skills that come in handy for personal training.

Aaron continued to gain both muscle and strength and soon discovered that he was being drawn toward Powerlifting instead of Bodybuilding. He entered his first regional Bench Press contest in 1996 and won with a lift of 440 pounds. He continued to lift and compete and in 1998 he entered the Northwest Strongest Man contest and placed 4th out of 17 competitors including 10 time National and 7 time World powerlifting champion Andrew "Bull" Stewart and Odd Haugen, who has been featured on ESPN's World's Strongest Man!

Aaron loved both Powerlifting and Strongman and competed in both over the next several years. His best Squat is 655 pounds, Bench press 525 pounds, Deadlift 725 pounds, and Total 1840. In Strongman, Aaron has won the Spokane's Strongest Man in 2003, and the Washington's Strongest Man in 2004, while placing 3rd at the Strongest in the West 2004 and 9th out of 43 competitors at the 2004 National Championships at the GNC Show of Strength in Atlanta, Georgia!

In training, Aaron flips a 900+ pound tire and lifts a variety of large stones. He still Squats, Benches, and Deadlifts in the gym, as well as many other exercises. He has trained with World Champion Powerlifters as well as Professional Strongmen. He was featured in Powermag magazine (now MonsterMuscle) when he faced off with 3 time World's Strongest Man winner Bill Kazmaier and bent the ends of a 3/4 inch steel bar to within 6 inches of each other at a Strength Exhibition!

Aaron coaches men who want extreme strength, or massive muscles, and women who want to be firm and lean. You can receive personal training by Aaron via e-mail to achieve your physical fitness goals. Click on Personal Training by Aaron to find out more.

Sam Anderton has been training seriously since he was a 14 year old teen in 1993. In the beginning he was a skinny 6'0 132 pound weakling. Involved in organized sports from the age of 10 playing football, basketball and baseball in the pee wee leagues he was a very good athlete, but when it came time for high school football he knew he needed to put on some serious size and strength to play with the big boys.

After only 5 months of bodybuilding training his weight had climbed to a more respectable 165. Still not satisfied with the progress he continued his training, not knowing at the time that his interest and passion is changing from sports to bodybuilding. With somewhat inconsistent training and nutrition throughout the rest of high school he managed to graduate at a bodyweight of 215lbs at a height of 6'3".

In 1997, less than a year later, he competed in his first deadlift competition and broke the Washington State record with a lift of 562 lbs in the 220 lb 18-19 yr old division.

Entering the Army soon after it became very difficult to stick with a consistent weight training and nutrition program. Still in the Army in 2002 he competed in and won a deadlift competition with a lift of 675 lbs and just missing on 700 weighing 237 lbs.

Since then he has trained with world class powerlifters and strongmen continuing to train and gain as much knowledge as possible in the quest of improving his physique and performance in every way possible. At a top bodyweight of 262lbs, but hovering between 250-260, he still plays basketball on a weekly basis and can dunk with ease.
